Overview

Remote meeting creation may fail if the Zoom or Microsoft Teams integration is not configured, or if the connection authorization or consent has expired. This article explains how to reconnect the integration and create the remote meeting again.

Errors you may see

  • "Failed to remove video meeting link. Please try again."
  • "Connection error - Something went wrong. If this error persists, please contact support"
  • "Error - Something went wrong. If this error persists, please contact support"

Resolution

  1. Confirm that the Zoom/Teams account is integrated.
  2. Reconnect the account by going to Settings>Feature.
  3. Click Add Account under Zoom or Teams and log into the account again.
  4. Re-grant any required consent when prompted.
  5. Re-create the remote meeting.
  6. For Zoom system requirements, review Zoom Integration – Recommended System Requirements.

Additional notes

  • Zoom recording permissions may not work if the host is using the Zoom Web client or a Zoom Room, because those options do not support recording permission.
  • If the issue continues, contact Support with the meeting details and the integration being used, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
