What is the Microsoft Teams integration in OnBoard?
The Microsoft Teams integration in OnBoard allows authorized users to connect one or more Microsoft Teams accounts and create Teams meeting links directly from within OnBoard. Once connected, meeting administrators can quickly schedule and launch remote meetings without leaving OnBoard.
This integration supports multiple Teams accounts and allows organizations to manage remote meetings more efficiently.
| NOTE: To connect a Teams account in Organization Settings, you must be an Organization Administrator (Admin). You will also need valid Microsoft Teams sign-in credentials. |

Who Can Connect a Teams Account in OnBoard?
Who can connect a Teams account depends on where the connection is being made.
- Organization Admins can connect Teams accounts from the organization's Feature Settings.
- Meeting Admins can connect Teams accounts directly within a meeting.
- Meeting Admins include:
- Organization Admins
- Meeting Creators
- Meeting Members with meeting administration permissions
What Do I Need Before Getting Started?
Before getting started, make sure you have:
- An active Microsoft Teams account
- Your Microsoft login credentials
- The appropriate OnBoard permissions:
- Organization Admin for organization-wide configuration
- Meeting Admin for meeting-level configuration
Connect a Teams Account in Organization Settings
How Do I Connect a Teams Account from Organization Settings?
To connect a Teams account from Organization Settings:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select the Feature tab.
- Scroll to the Teams Video Meeting section.
- Select Connect Teams Account.
- You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in page.
- Enter your Microsoft credentials.
- Select Sign in.
- After signing in successfully, your Teams account will be available for use when creating Teams meetings in OnBoard.
| NOTE: If you are already signed in to Microsoft, OnBoard may automatically connect your Teams account after you select Connect Teams Account. |

How Do I Connect More Than One Teams Account?
You can connect multiple Teams accounts to OnBoard for greater flexibility when managing remote meetings.
After connecting your first account:
- Navigate to Settings > Feature.
- Locate the Teams Video Meeting section.
- Select + Add Account.
- Sign in with the additional Microsoft Teams account.

How Can a Meeting Admin Connect a Teams Account During Meeting Setup?
Meeting Admins can connect a Teams account directly while creating or editing a remote meeting.

After authentication, the Teams account becomes available for creating Teams meeting links within that meeting.
Refresh an Inactive Teams Connection
What Happens if I Have Not Used My Teams Account in OnBoard for 90 Days?
If you have not used your connected Teams account in OnBoard for 90 days or longer, you will be prompted to sign in again.
This reauthentication process refreshes the connection between Microsoft Teams and OnBoard and ensures meeting links can continue to be generated successfully.
Remove a Connected Teams Account
How Do I Remove a Teams Account from OnBoard?
Organization Admins can remove connected Teams accounts through Organization Settings.
To remove a Teams account:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select the Feature tab.
- Scroll to the Teams Video Meeting section.
- Locate the connected account you want to remove.
- Select Remove.
The selected Teams account will no longer be available for creating Teams meetings in OnBoard.
| NOTE: Organization Members and Creators cannot access Organization Settings and therefore cannot remove connected Teams accounts. |

What Can I Do After Connecting Teams?
After connecting Microsoft Teams to OnBoard, you can:

- Support multiple concurrent meetings with separate Teams meeting links

Can I connect more than one Teams account to OnBoard?
- Yes. OnBoard supports multiple connected Teams accounts, making it easier to manage remote meetings across different Teams users or organizations.
Can multiple Teams meetings run at the same time?
- Yes. Microsoft Teams generates a unique meeting link for each meeting, allowing multiple meetings to occur simultaneously.
Who can connect Teams accounts in OnBoard?
- Organization Admins can connect Teams accounts in the organization's Feature Settings.
- Meeting Admins, including Organization Admins, Creators, and Members with meeting administration permissions, can connect Teams accounts within individual meetings.
Does the Teams meeting phone number automatically appear in OnBoard?
- No. The Teams meeting phone number does not automatically populate in OnBoard.
- To include phone dial-in information, follow the instructions provided in the related Community post.
Can I edit Teams meeting details after the meeting is created?
- No. Once a Teams meeting is created in OnBoard, the following information cannot be edited:
- Meeting link
- Meeting password
- Remote Meeting ID
- If you need different meeting information, remove the existing meeting link and generate a new Teams meeting link.
Will using Teams through OnBoard change my Teams meeting experience?
- No. Teams meetings launched from OnBoard open in the Microsoft Teams application or supported browser experience. All standard Microsoft Teams functionality remains available.
Do attendees need a Teams account to join a Teams meeting from OnBoard?
- No. Attendees can choose to open the meeting in a supported web browser, which may not require a Teams account depending on the meeting settings established in Microsoft Teams.
What happens if I do not use my connected Teams account for 90 days?
- If your connected Teams account has not been used in OnBoard for 90 days or more, you will be prompted to sign in again to refresh the connection.
Will generating a Teams meeting link automatically add an event to my calendar?
- No. Creating a Teams meeting link in OnBoard does not automatically create a calendar event on the account owner's calendar.
- To send calendar invitations to participants, use OnBoard's Calendar Integration feature.
