Overview
The Organization Details page stores your organization’s public information in OnBoard, including:
- Organization name
- Organization logo
- Organization profile and firmographics (company-level details such as industry, size, or location)
- Contact information
- Social media links
- Board leadership
Only Organization Administrators can edit this page.
Access Organization Details
How Do I Open Organization Details?
To open Organization Details, go to Home in the left navigation, then select the Organization Details tab near the top of the page.
- In the left navigation, click Home.

At the top of the page, click Organization Details.
How Do I Start Editing a Panel?
To start editing a panel, click Edit on the right side of that panel. If the panel is empty, the button may say Add instead.
- Click Edit to change existing information.
- Click Add if the panel does not have content yet.
- Repeat this process for any panel you want to update.

Edit Organization Name and Logo
How Do I Edit the Organization Name?
To edit the organization name, click Edit in the top panel where your current organization name appears.
- Open Organization Details.
- In the top panel, click Edit.
- Click inside the Organization Name field.
- Type the updated organization name.
How Do I Upload an Organization Logo?
To upload an organization logo, move your mouse over the image area and click the Edit icon.
- In the same top panel, hover over the logo or image placeholder.
- Click the Edit icon that appears.
- Upload your image file.
You can upload these file types:
- PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
- JPG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)
- GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)
| NOTE: There is no minimum logo size requirement. However, small images may look stretched or blurry. For best results, use a 1:1 ratio image, which means a square image. |
How Do I Save the Organization Name and Logo?
To save the organization name and logo, click Save after you finish making changes.
- Review your updates.
- Click Save.
- Confirm that the changes appear right away.
Update Organization Profile
What is the Organization Profile Section Used For?
The Organization Profile section is used to store your organization’s firmographic information.
Use this section to enter or update company-level details for your organization.

Update Contact Information
How Do I Edit Organization Contact Information?
To edit organization contact information, click Edit in the Organization Contact Info panel.
This section is useful when board members need quick access to your organization’s contact details.
- Find the Organization Contact Info panel.
- Click Edit in the top-right corner.
- Enter or update any of the following:
- Address
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Website
- Click Save in the top-right corner of the panel.
What Contact Details Can I Add?
The contact details you can add include your organization’s main address, phone number, fax number, and website.
This information is available as a quick reference for organization members.
Add Social Media Links
How Do I Add Social Media Links?
To add social media links, click Edit in the Social panel.
- Find the Social panel.
- Click Edit.
- Enter your organization’s URL (web address) for any of these platforms:
- X.com
- YouTube
- Click Save.
Where Do Members See the Social Media Links?
Members see the social media links on the Organization Info tab after the links are saved.
Once saved, members can open the Organization Info tab and click the links there.
Update Board Leadership
How Do I Edit Board Leadership Details?
To edit board leadership details, click Edit in the Board Leadership panel.
- Find the Board Leadership panel.
- Click Edit.
- Add or update any of these roles:
- CEO/President (Chief Executive Officer/President)
- Chair
- Board Secretary
- To choose someone from the current OnBoard directory:
- Start typing the person’s name.
- Click the correct name when it appears.
- If the person is not in the directory, enter the name manually.
- Click Save.
| NOTE: Board role titles cannot be edited (ex: "CEO/President" cannot be changed to "Director") |
What If The Person Is Not Listed In The Directory?
If the person is not listed in the directory, you can type the name manually.
You can also add users to your organization directory if needed. See Adding and Inviting Members to your Organization (Individual & Bulk CSV Import).
Permissions and Access
Who Can Update Organization Details?
Only Organization Administrators can update Organization Details.

What image file types can I upload for the organization logo?
- You can upload PNG, JPG, and GIF files for the organization logo.
Is there a minimum logo size?
- There is no minimum logo size. However, small images may look distorted, and a square (1:1 ratio) logo usually looks best.
When do my changes appear?
- Your changes appear immediately after you click Save.
Can I add social media links for multiple platforms?
- Yes. You can add links for LinkedIn, X.com, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Can I select board leaders from the directory?
- Yes. You can begin typing a name and select a person from the current OnBoard directory.
What if a board leader is not in the directory?
- If a board leader is not in the directory, you can enter the name manually.
What information can I add to Organization Contact Info?
- You can add the organization’s address, phone number, fax number, and website.
What does “firmographics” mean?
- Firmographics are company-level details, such as industry, size, and location, that describe an organization.
