What Is an OnBoard ID?

Your OnBoard ID is the email address you use to log in to OnBoard.
When you change your OnBoard ID, you are updating your login credentials.

Can Admins Change My OnBoard ID?

No. Admins cannot change an OnBoard ID or email address on behalf of a user.
Each user must update their own OnBoard ID.

How Do I Change My OnBoard ID?

Follow these steps in the Web version of OnBoard:
  1. Log In
  2. Access Your Profile
    • Click your name or profile picture at the bottom of the navigation menu.
    • Select Profile.

  1. Open Settings
    • Switch to the Settings tab.
    • Select Change OnBoard ID.

  1. Enter Your New Email Address
    • A pop-up window will appear.
    • Type your new email address (must be valid).
    • Click Submit.

  1. Verify Your New Email
    • A validation code will be sent to your new email.
    • Check your inbox for an email from OnBoard. 
  • Enter the code in the validation box on OnBoard. 
  • Click Submit.

What Happens After I Change My OnBoard ID?

  • You will now log in using your new email address.
  • Your old email address will no longer work for login.
  • OnBoard notifications will now be sent to your new OnBoard ID email address.

Note:

  • Make sure your new email address is active and accessible
  • If you do not receive the validation email, check your spam/junk folder.
  • Admins can manage other profile settings but cannot change your OnBoard ID.

FAQs

Is my OnBoard ID the same as my email address?

  • Yes. Your OnBoard ID is your email address used for login.
    This means when you change your OnBoard ID, you are changing the email address associated with your account.

What if I don’t receive the validation code?

  • Check your spam/junk folder.
  • Make sure you entered the correct new email address.
  • If you still don’t see the email, contact OnBoard Support.

Can I use any email address as my OnBoard ID?

  • Yes, as long as it is a valid and accessible email address.
    Avoid using shared or group email accounts for security reasons.

Do I need to update my password after changing my OnBoard ID?

  • No. Your password will remain the same unless you choose to reset it.
    You can reset your password anytime under Profile > Settings > Change Password.

Will my meeting invitations and notifications go to my new email?

  • Yes. All future notifications and invitations will be sent to your new OnBoard ID email address.
