In OnBoard, we can vote on Approvals, view related documents, participate in discussions, and check results. There are several ways we can access our Approvals.
How Do I Access Approvals From the Home Page?
You can open Approvals directly from the Awaiting Response area on your OnBoard Home page. This panel shows any Actions, including Approvals, that need your attention right now.
Accessing From the Web
- From the Home Page, look for the Awaiting Response panel at the top-right of the page.
- This panel displays any pending Approvals, Surveys, or eSignatures you have not completed.
- Select the Approval you want to review.
- You will be taken directly into the item so you can:
- View documents
- Read discussions
- Cast your vote
- Provide your signature (if required)
| Note: If you do not see this panel, scroll down or check that you are on the Home tab rather than the Actions tab. |
Accessing From the Mobile App (iOS or Android)
- Open the OnBoard mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.
- The app opens to Home by default.
If not, tap Home at the bottom of the screen. - At the top of the Home page, find the Awaiting Response panel right below the Upcoming Meetings panel.
- Tap the Approval you need to vote on, or select See All Actions for the full list.
How Do I Vote on an Approval From Email?
We can vote directly from an email notification or by logging in through the OnBoard app or browser.

Steps:
- Open the email notification sent by OnBoard.
- Click Vote Now.
This logs you into OnBoard and takes you directly to the Approval.
- Review any Supporting Documents or Discussions if needed.
- Scroll to the Cast Vote panel.
- Choose one of the available options:
- Yes
- No
- Abstain
- If a signature is required:
- Add your saved signature or sign manually.
- Click Sign and Vote to submit.
- Once cast, you can change your vote at any time while the Approval is still open.
- You can view your previous voting history near the Cast Vote panel, which will also list your current vote.
| Important Note: Once an Approval has been Closed, it will no longer be possible to vote or change your vote. |
How Do I Access My Full List of Approvals?
Steps:
- Log in to OnBoard via:
- Mobile app, or
- Web browser: https://app.onboardmeetings.com
- Open the Actions menu.
- On smartphones, you may need to tap the “…” menu first.
- At the top of the Actions page, select the Approvals filter.
- If you don’t see filters, tap the three‑line icon to expand them.
- Look for the Awaiting Your Response section.
Approvals that require your vote will appear here. - Select an Approval to open it and cast your vote.

- Click a highlighted filter to remove it and return to viewing all Action types.
Where Can I Find Discussions Linked to an Approval?
Open the Approval and scroll to the Discussions section.
Details:
- Discussions may include:
- Comments from other voters
- Uploaded documents
- Items display oldest to newest.
- Click a file name to open it in OnBoard.
- If you added a file, select the 3-dot menu dropdown to:
- Rename it
- Delete it
- Download it (if downloads are enabled)
How Do I View Approval Results?
Scroll to the Approval Results panel (if results are visible to you).
Details:
- After voting, you can return to Actions anytime to:
- View the Approval
- Update your vote (if still open)
- Closed Approvals may be found under the Closed section, which you may need to expand.

Can I change my vote?

Yes, as long as the Approval is still open.
Once it closes, votes are final.
Where do I find items waiting for my vote?
- Go to Actions → Approvals → Awaiting Your Response.
Why don’t I see the Approvals filter?
- The filter bar may be collapsed.
Tap or click the three‑line icon to expand it.
Where do I find supporting documents?
- Supporting documents appear within the Approval, typically above the Cast Vote panel.
Can I join conversations about the Approval?
- Yes. If Discussions are enabled, you’ll see a Discussions section where you can read and add comments.
