You can save your Meeting Books in the OnBoard mobile app to read and annotate them without an internet connection.
What Should I Do Before I Go Offline?
Step 1 — Sign In and Trust Your Device (While Online)
- Open the OnBoard mobile app while connected to the internet.
- Sign in to your account.
- When prompted, Trust this device and set your PIN.
Important: If the device is not trusted, you will be signed out after 1 hour of inactivity. When you’re signed out, all offline data is deleted, and any unsaved changes are lost for security.
Step 2 — Confirm Your Meeting Book Is Saved For Offline
- Open the meeting and locate the Meeting Materials section.
- Check the status text next to Open Book / Resume Reading Book:
- “Saved for Offline” → You’re ready to use it offline.
- No offline status → Download it using one of the options below.
Step 3 — Choose How the App Downloads Your Meeting Books
- Automatic over Wi‑Fi: When you view a meeting while connected to Wi‑Fi, the book downloads automatically.
- Allow auto‑download over cellular (optional):
- Go to Profile & Settings → Settings.
- Enable Auto‑Download over Cellular Data.
Step 4 — Manually Download (if needed)
- Tap Download for Offline to save the Meeting Book to your device.
How do I work with Meeting Books offline?
- Open the meeting and tap Open Book.
- You’ll see a message: “This document could be outdated. Please reconnect to the internet to check for a newer version.”
- Tap Dismiss to close the message each time, or
- Tap Don’t Remind Me to hide it going forward.
- You can read and annotate normally while offline.
How Do My Annotations Sync When I Reconnect?
- After you reconnect to the internet, open your Book in the app.
- Your annotations upload automatically and appear in the live (online) version of the Meeting Book.
How Do I Review or Remove Saved Offline Data?
- Tap your user icon (or tap … → Profile & Settings).
- Go to Settings → Stored Offline Data.
- Review the list of all files and Meeting Books currently saved for offline access.
- Remove items you no longer need to free up space.
