With OnBoard, we can easily find, open, and sign eSignature documents in across web, tablet, and mobile. There are several ways we can access our eSignatures.
How Do I Access eSignatures From the Home Page?
You can open eSignatures directly from the Awaiting Response area on your OnBoard Home page. This panel shows any Actions, including eSignatures, that need your attention right now.
Accessing From the Web
- From the Home Page, look for the Awaiting Response panel at the top-right of the page.
- This panel displays any pending Approvals, Surveys, or eSignatures you have not completed.
- Select the eSignature you want to review.
| Note: If you do not see this panel, scroll down or check that you are on the Home tab rather than the Actions tab. |
Accessing From the Mobile App (iOS or Android)
- Open the OnBoard mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.
- The app opens to Home by default.
If not, tap Home at the bottom of the screen. - At the top of the Home page, find the Awaiting Response panel right below the Upcoming Meetings panel.
- Tap the eSignature you need to vote on, or select See All Actions for the full list.
Access Through the Navigation Menu
Your eSignatures items are stored in Actions.
Web Browser or Tablet
- Select Actions in the navigation menu.
To filter the Actions in the list:
- Tap the Filter icon.
- Choose eSignatures to display only your eSignature items.
- Select any eSignature to open it.
Mobile App
- Tap the three‑dot menu.
- Tap Actions.
- Select a Filter option.
How Do I Access eSignatures from Email Notifications?
You may get one or more of the following when a document needs your signature:
- Email notification from OnBoard
- Push notification on your mobile or tablet
- Alert in your OnBoard Actions list
Click or tap any notification to go straight to the document.
How Do I Open and Review an eSignature Document?
Click or tap Sign Document to open the file.
- Scroll through the document to read it fully.
- Look for signature and initial fields (highlighted boxes).

How Do I Sign the Document?
Signing Steps
- Tap or click a signature or initials box.
- Draw your signature using:
- Finger
- Mouse
- Stylus
- Choose Done to apply it.
- Choose Clear if you want to try again.
Using Saved Signatures
If you have a saved signature:
- It will fill automatically when allowed by an admin.
- You can choose Save signature to profile to reuse it later.
What Happens After I Sign?
Once all required fields are completed:
- No additional steps are required.
- You may Back (web) or Close (mobile/tablet) the document.
How Do I Download or Share the Signed Document?
After the eSignature admin closes the item:
On Web
- Click Download Document to save a signed copy.
On Mobile/Tablet
- Tap the Share button to download or share the file.
| Note: Admins may disable document downloads. |
FAQs
Can I reuse my signature?
- Yes. You can save your signature and initials to your profile so they automatically populate in future eSignature documents (if allowed by admins).
This behavior is also supported in mobile workflows.
Can I see my eSignature actions on mobile?
- Yes. All Actions—including eSignature, Approvals, and Surveys—are available from the mobile Actions menu.
How will I know I need to sign something?
- Look for:
- Email alerts
- Push notifications
- A badge on your Actions tab
