Accessibility Improvements to Public Meetings

We’ve made significant accessibility improvements to the public meeting site. 

PDF/UA Accessible Document Generation

Documents converted to PDF — including meeting books, agenda files, and Microsoft Project files — now comply with PDF/UA-1 (ISO 14289-1), the international standard for accessible PDFs:

• Screen reader support:  PDFs include language tags so assistive technologies can correctly interpret document content.
• Structural tagging:  documents include semantic structure for navigation by assistive devices.
• Title display: PDF viewers now show the document title in the title bar for easier identification.
