Overview

If you enter the wrong password several times, OnBoard may temporarily lock your account for security. The lock usually clears automatically after a short wait. If you need access sooner, your organization administrator can unlock your account.

This applies to OnBoard on the web and mobile app.

Errors you may see

  • “Incorrect Password”
  • A message that sign-in is blocked or your account is locked after repeated failed attempts

Cause

OnBoard temporarily locks accounts after several failed sign-in attempts. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access.

Resolution

  1. Stop trying to sign in for a short period. The lock clears automatically after a wait.
  2. Confirm that you are using the correct password.
  3. If you are unsure of your password, use Forgot password after the lock clears. Repeated incorrect attempts can lock the account again.
  4. If you need access sooner, contact your organization administrator. They can initiate a password reset to unlock your account immediately.

Still need help?

If the issue continues, contact your organization administrator or OnBoard Support and include the email address on your account.
