Formatting Excel Files Before Uploading to OnBoard Pinned
When working with Excel files, OnBoard will display the uploaded workbook or sheet just as 'print preview' or if you were to actually print the pages on paper (but we don't do that anymore, right?! 😁)
Here are some tips for formatting Excel sheets before uploading to OnBoard:
- Hide any tabs you do not want to appear
- Change the layout to landscape and adjust margins if needed
- Set any preferences for freezing the titles (rows to repeat at top) to appear when there are multiple pages
- Use the ‘Print Preview’ or ‘Page Break Preview’
Once you have the orientation just how you want it, save and upload the file to OnBoard.
Pro Tip: meeting admins can use the “Open Book” button to preview the final packet in OnBoard just before changing the meeting’s visibility to “All Visible”. This is a great habit to form and a best practice!
