Quick Tips for Administrators Pinned
If you are just beginning to deploy OnBoard or you have recently taken on an administrator role, we've got you covered! Take a moment to review the below tips - we guarantee you will learn something you can apply right away.

As administrators, you will work in OnBoard from a web browser to access the administrator features. Chrome is the most commonly used browser, but Edge, Firefox, and Safari are available to use. Please note: Internet Explorer will no longer be a supported browser after December 31, 2021.
- Set up your portal by adding in users so that you can create groups. You have control over when the invitation is sent, so go ahead and add your users through either Invite option (by member or CSV upload) and send the invitations at a later date.

Consider filling out your users’ OnBoard profiles if you want to save them time or you think they may not enter their contact information or pictures. If they have an alternate email address or an assistant, you can use our Multiple Notification Emails to enter them.

In the meeting location field, you can enter multiple lines for an address, web conference link, and dial-in instructions. When an address is entered and the user is viewing the meeting within the OnBoard App, they can open directions on their installed map application with one click.

If you will be adding several items to the resource library, add permissions to the folders last so as to avoid your members receiving several email notifications that new documents have been added.

Don’t forget about Settings in the meeting details where you can turn on page numbers and enable a table of contents.

Users can reset their own passwords! On the login page (https://onboard.passageways.com) they will click "Reset Password", enter their email address associated with their OnBoard account, and follow the instructions in the email they receive.
