Benefits of Remote Meeting Configurations

OnBoard enables Meeting Admins to seamlessly set up remote meeting links within the meeting, and invitees can then launch their remote meetings directly from OnBoard with ease.

There are multiple ways to configure a remote meeting, each offering unique advantages. Review the chart and overview below for the available configuration options and their benefits.

Manual Configuration

With manual configuration, Meeting Admins can insert an existing remote meeting link into the meeting details. This method supports all major remote meeting platforms, including Google Meet, Webex, GoTo Meeting, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.

When attendees select the Join Remote button, the meeting opens in a separate browser tab or directly within the designated remote meeting application.

✅ Allows the use of existing meeting links, eliminating the need to generate new ones in OnBoard.
✅ Ensures a seamless transition for invitees, as there is no change to how the meeting is conducted.

Microsoft Teams Integration

Once a Microsoft Teams account is linked to OnBoard, Meeting Admins can instantly generate a unique Teams meeting link—without needing to create a separate calendar event in the Teams app.

When attendees select the Join Teams button, the meeting opens in a new browser tab or the within Teams application.

✅ Saves time by generating a Teams link directly within OnBoard.
✅ Provides a seamless join experience for invitees without disrupting how the meeting is conducted.
✅ Enables meeting admins to leverage OnBoard’s Calendar Integration by eliminating the need for a separate calendar event to schedule the Teams meeting.

Zoom Integration

Similar to Teams, linking a Zoom account to OnBoard allows Meeting Admins to quickly create a unique Zoom meeting link. However, the Zoom integration also offers an in-app meeting experience, giving attendees multiple options for joining the meeting.

When invitees select the Join Zoom button, they can choose to:

• Join Using Zoom – Opens the meeting in a browser tab or the Zoom application.
• Join in OnBoard – Opens Zoom within the OnBoard app, allowing participants to simultaneously engage with meeting materials and discussions.
