With the ability to electronically sign a document, how do people manage the witness to the electronic signature?
Within my state (Victoria, Australia) the requirement exists for an audiovisual link but the link needs to be with the party and the witness so that the witness can see the application of the signature.. I guess this means an application like zoom and being able to share the screen while the person click the signing of the document then witness can sign their end.
The only other issue is that the witness can't see the signature till the document is closed. I'm uncertain as to what they can see as a signer and not an administrator. Perhaps you will need a new category of witness so that the person can see who has signed but does not have the same privileges as an administrator.
