This is a quick guide for OnBoard Organization Administrators to resend invitations and reset passwords.
When adding new members to an organization, the member may not see the invitation before it expires (Invitations expire after 7 days). An organizational administrator has the ability to resend invitations and send password reset links, through the User List. As you can see below Matt Holmes has an expired invitation and Harry Dresden has a locked account.
Administrators can click on Edit on the top right, which will enable the options to resend invitations.
From the edit screen, you now have the option to Resend an invitation. Check the box next to the user's name with the expired invitation (in this case, Matt). Then hit Resend Invitation, this will open a column to the right that will show this:
This confirms that the user(s) that need a new invitation have been selected. You can now hit either "Send Invitations" to send the invitations.
If you accidentally click on a user that has already accepted their invitation, the same screen will look like this:
In this one, Hida Domon is listed below the line "These users have already accepted their invitations and will not be sent again". Any user selected who appears below that line have accepted the invitation to the organization.
To Reset Passwords, the steps are the same for Resend Invitations, only you'll click on Reset Password instead of Resend Invitations. After you've selected users who are locked out, you'll see this screen on the right:
Click on either "Reset Passwords" and an email will be sent to the user(s) with a password reset link. A reminder, reset links are only good for two hours.
If you click on a user who is not a member of your organization, you'll get a screen to the right like this:
Matt has not accepted the invite to the organization, so the organizational administrator can not reset his password. Matt still has the ability to reset his password himself.
