This is a guide for OnBoard Organization Administrators to resend invitations and reset passwords.
**Passwords and Invitations reset after seven days, a change introduced in our 2.6.5 update.**
Resend Invitations
For board members who already have an OnBoard account, they may need a reminder to accept the invitation that was sent to them. This can be accomplished by clicking on the Remind text, like in the image below.
The “Remind” text will only display when a user has been invited that already has an OnBoard ID/Account.
Reset Passwords
**Please note: Admins can not use these steps to reset the passwords of directors that are a member of more than one OnBoard organization. Please follow the steps in the article linked here**
Password resets are even easier in OnBoard with the new changes. If you have one user that's locked out, like the picture below, you can click on reset.
The Administrator can click on reset to reset the user's password.
The Admin will next need to click on send, which will show the window below
From here, the Admin can choose to either click on the Temporary password (which will copy it to the Admin's clipboard on their computer) or they can click on one of the email options to send the Temporary Password out.
Additionally, Admins can reset passwords at the request of their users by clicking on Edit and then checking the box next to the user's name. After that, the Admin will need to hit Reset Password on the top right.
The Admin will get this pop up
They can choose whether or not to leave the box checked to Automatically email passwords to members on their behalf.
